The Good Times Keep Rolling On

I can't believe that I forgot to mention yesterday that KENNY CHESNEY was at the fair over the weekend!! That's right! One of my friends recognized him and shook his hand! He was wearing a baseball cap pulled way down and glasses walking throught the crowd at the Santa Fe concert. He is good friends with Payton Manning, so we figure he was visiting with him. I remember him being there with Payton one other time.

One thing I love about the fair is that you can eat a piece of cake this big for breakfast and it's okay! He did eat eat it all and he did have a sugar high the rest of the day! This is Tyler (a cousin).

My Granny and her brother and sister. Granny is bottom left. This was the first fair she has been to in several years. We were so glad to see her!

Grandaddy and his boys enjoying the fair! Judd is a Grandaddy's boy!

Blaine and Kelly playing the nintendo ds in the bedroom where it's cool!

Unfortunately, Jamey... and his good buddy, Hulio, had to leave on Sunday. Jamey had to be in Illinois Sunday night. Jamey had to get up and leave fairly early, but Hulio stayed around for some horse races. He's a first time fair goer! It was really quiet last night without them! They are both hilarious! Jamey, don't worry, we'll save some fun for you!

By the way, Jamey is officially a home owner! He closed on his first house last week. We will spend the next few weeks and probably months remodeling it. We are going to make it the perfect bachelor pad!

Getting Measured

It has become a tradition to see how much the kids grew from year to year.

Is he not the cutest thing you have ever seen? Dirt n' all!

Mule Races

Daddy and Jamey raced in the annual mule races on Saturday. Daddy came in third place. Jamey came in 2nd. He led most of the race, but got beat by a nose at the wire. His mule got distraced and wanted to jump the fence, so the lady passed him. For some reason, Jamey always lets the girls win!

Judd had to take his turn!

Neshoba County Fair

We spent the weekend at The Fair...just taking it in! It has been great so far.... we've had perfect weather and my kids have been on their BEST behavior. I guess they are going to be another generation of fair lovers! Judd does like to explore. He has stayed pretty close to the cabin except for Friday night when Neal caught up with him in the cabin next door trying to climb the stairs! Having the camper there has worked out really good. We've gotten much more sleep! The announcers don't wake us up each morning at 7 doing a mic check! So, we have been doing a lot of this...playing

some of this...relaxing
and, too much of this...

Just so he won't get lost!

Oh, What Fun!

Last Friday afternoon we met up with the Ogletree gang (Papa Z and Gran; Mandy, Chad, and Hanna; Daniel and Lacey with Emma) at Gatti Town. We had a blast. There were so many games to play. Blaine had been looking so forward to it. He had been telling us all about it! We played games for a while and then ate for a while and played games again and then ate again and then played games again! We were there for 4 hours!

Judd enjoyed the "penny ride" ( that's what Blaine calls these rides. He thinks they only cost a penny... I wish!)

Blaine spent most of his time at the Nascar game! I think the men enjoyed them, too!

Why waste your time throwing the balls when you can just walk up there and put them in the hole?
Blaine and Hanna loved the bumper cars!
Hanna and Papa Z on the Frog Hopper. Blaine was not quite brave enough for this ride!Judd was so scared of this man at the shooting game! If the man moved even slightly, Judd would start crying!

Baby Long Legs

My Daddy called me yesterday and wanted us to come see his new mule colt that had just been born. He told me to bring my camera to take some pictures of it because it has really long legs. And I would say that it does! The pictures don't really do it justice.

It's like he's walking on stilts!

Daddy and his jack named Billy.

Judd was petting this horse-I just missed it!There's nothing like a good ole bareback ride around the pasture!

Another baby colt. These two colts have learned teamwork at an early age!Best Buds!

I found these pictures on my camera. I guess I had forgotten about them!

Have a great weekend!
