Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday, we made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. We went to a different one this year, and it was not what we are used to. They do have a huge corn maze and haunted barn, but we were there for the pumpkin patch, and it wasn't too good. Oh well, the boys had fun!!

Our good friends Big Mac, Chasity, and Brennon went along for the fun, too!

It was pretty much impossible to get a picture of all three of them looking at the camera! Brennon liked trying to eat the corn! ha!

Next, it was time for the hay ride to the pumpkin patch.

It didn't take Judd long to pick out a pumpkin...or two!!

Judd tried to get as many pumpkins as he could into the bag! We finally talked him into just taking home two!

It was way too hot for the end of October! We were all so hot!

We decided to go by a pretty fall display and try to take pictures on the way home, but it just didn't work out. Judd fell alseep and wouldn't sit by himself, so this is what we ended up with!

It turned out to be a great weekend...Friday night I went to a "girls" get-together while all the men and kids destroyed my house!! It was a wreck when I got home, I think the men just let the kids run wild! Saturday night we went to a hay ride/fall get-together at some friends house. Sunday we went to church and spent some time at the park with friends! The weather was just beautiful even though it was a little on the warm side for October!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Jett!!

Jett turned 2 years old last week and we celebrated last Saturday at Okatibbee Lake. It was a beautiful day for a birthday party!

Miss Joy

Judd has been sick this week with an infection in his mouth. It has been very painful for him, so he has not been eating very much. Poor baby. He is feeling some better today, though! We have been extremely busy lately...as usual!

Busy, Busy Weekend!!

We had a really busy weekend. Friday night, Blaine went to his first spend the night party. He has spent the night away from home plenty of times with people we were close to, but never with a friend from school along with several other boys. I think he had a really good time! After we dropped Blaine off, I had to decorate for a bridal shower brunch that our church was having Saturday morning. Neal and Judd came along and helped me!

After the shower, I had to get ready for Lisa's 50th birthday party! Sunday was her 50th birthday, so we just had to have her a party!!

Momma made her yummy cake! We also had several dips and chips and ice cream!

Her basket was courtesy of Jamey and had 50+ vitamins, denture cleaner, denture adhesive, depends, ibuprofen, and Gas-x!! Oh, and I can't forget the crown!

Blaine and Judd had to go outside and let her balloons go. Well, they got caught in the tree. Then, Jenny's shoe got stuck in the tree trying to get the balloons out. Jean Jean saved the day by getting on top of her car to help get them down!

After Lisa party, we had to go to the 3rd birthday party of the weekend. It was for a little boy in our church. After that, we went to watch a play called "Hee Haw" that the town of Sebastopol was putting on. That was the 2nd time we saw it, and it was so funny!! They did an excellent job! Sunday we were busy with church and Blaine's make-up work from missing school last Wednesday due to a drs. appointment. It took forever to get it all done plus his homework for the weekend!

State Champs!!!

The Leake Academy Softball team won the State Championship on Monday with a 34-0 record!!! My cousin Jenny is the 3rd one on the bottom. This is her 2nd state title this year. The LA cheerleaders also won the state championship!!!
