Pumpkin Patch

Last Saturday, we made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. We went to a different one this year, and it was not what we are used to. They do have a huge corn maze and haunted barn, but we were there for the pumpkin patch, and it wasn't too good. Oh well, the boys had fun!!

Our good friends Big Mac, Chasity, and Brennon went along for the fun, too!

They had several different animals to see....

Big Mac helping Blaine shoot the target with the corn shooter.

Blaine putting the corn cob into the shooter.....

and then shooting it.

Brennon playing in the corn! The corn was a big hit with all of the boys!

It was pretty much impossible to get a picture of all three of them looking at the camera! Brennon liked trying to eat the corn! ha!

Next, it was time for the hay ride to the pumpkin patch.

It didn't take Judd long to pick out a pumpkin...or two!!

Blaine and his pick!

The boys with their pumpkins

Judd tried to get as many pumpkins as he could into the bag! We finally talked him into just taking home two!

It was way too hot for the end of October! We were all so hot!

We decided to go by a pretty fall display and try to take pictures on the way home, but it just didn't work out. Judd fell alseep and wouldn't sit by himself, so this is what we ended up with!

It turned out to be a great weekend...Friday night I went to a "girls" get-together while all the men and kids destroyed my house!! It was a wreck when I got home, I think the men just let the kids run wild! Saturday night we went to a hay ride/fall get-together at some friends house. Sunday we went to church and spent some time at the park with friends! The weather was just beautiful even though it was a little on the warm side for October!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Jett!!

Jett turned 2 years old last week and we celebrated last Saturday at Okatibbee Lake. It was a beautiful day for a birthday party!

Jean Jean and her brother Chris. Jean Jean, Mimi, the boys, and I all went to the party.

Jean Jean and Judd. Blaine refused pictures!!!

Blaine enjoys taking pictures of everyone else though!!

Jett and his friend Caroline.

The cake was SO cute and good!

Blowing out the candles

The boys had a great time playing on the playground!

Judd's hair was standing up from the static in the slide!

I had to be sneaky to get a picture of Blaine and his Drew Brees jersey!

Miss Joy

Judd has been sick this week with an infection in his mouth. It has been very painful for him, so he has not been eating very much. Poor baby. He is feeling some better today, though! We have been extremely busy lately...as usual!

Busy, Busy Weekend!!

We had a really busy weekend. Friday night, Blaine went to his first spend the night party. He has spent the night away from home plenty of times with people we were close to, but never with a friend from school along with several other boys. I think he had a really good time! After we dropped Blaine off, I had to decorate for a bridal shower brunch that our church was having Saturday morning. Neal and Judd came along and helped me!

I love her colors!

After the shower, I had to get ready for Lisa's 50th birthday party! Sunday was her 50th birthday, so we just had to have her a party!!

Momma made her yummy cake! We also had several dips and chips and ice cream!
Lisa with her over the hill gift basket and sign. The sign is an "inside" thing!!
Her basket was courtesy of Jamey and had 50+ vitamins, denture cleaner, denture adhesive, depends, ibuprofen, and Gas-x!! Oh, and I can't forget the crown!
Blaine and Judd had to go outside and let her balloons go. Well, they got caught in the tree. Then, Jenny's shoe got stuck in the tree trying to get the balloons out. Jean Jean saved the day by getting on top of her car to help get them down!

After Lisa party, we had to go to the 3rd birthday party of the weekend. It was for a little boy in our church. After that, we went to watch a play called "Hee Haw" that the town of Sebastopol was putting on. That was the 2nd time we saw it, and it was so funny!! They did an excellent job! Sunday we were busy with church and Blaine's make-up work from missing school last Wednesday due to a drs. appointment. It took forever to get it all done plus his homework for the weekend!

Blaine's Night Away

Friday afternoon Neal, Blaine, and I traveled to Tupelo for the Jason Aldean/Luke Bryan Concert. We bought the tickets a while back, but kept it a secret until this week. We used it as a good grade incentive! Starting Monday, we gave him a clue each day. Monday's clue was that we were going to spend the night somewhere. Tuesday was that he was going to get to leave school early. Wednesday, he found out that it had to do with music. Thursday, we told him Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan and he figured it out with no problem! Blaine LOVES both of them. Jason Aldean has been his favorite singer for a year or so now. It was so hard to leave Judd behind! Thanks to Jean Jean for keeping him for us!!

We were so glad that he got a nap on the way because we knew that it would be a late night!

Watching cartoons in the hotel.

Blaine said that this is where he was going to sleep, but he quickly changed his mind!

We had to take pictures before it was time to leave.

I wish Judd had been there for our family picture!

We finally found somewhere to eat. When we went it was candle light. Blaine said that he was scared....he had never been in anywhere like that before!

Then we were off to the Bankcorp South Arena.

Waiting for the show to begin...

Blaine picked out a Jason Aldean "Big Green Tractor" t-shirt and had to put it on!

Luke Bryan put on another great show. He was just as good as he was at the fair! My pictures are not as close as I had planned. They wouldn't let me bring my big lens in. We had to take it back to the car. That was just great....

Waiting for Jason Aldean to come out.

Cotton candy...yummy!

Jason Aldean time....this was right before they dropped the curtain.

His first song was "Crazy Town"

His lights were awsome. They moved around according to the song.

What a show!!! Most people never sat down during Luke Bryan or Jason Aldean!

The show ended without him singing "Big Green Tractor". Blaine was so disappointed, but I assured him that he was coming back out. There was no way that he would do a concert with out singing it! And he did come back out to sing a few more songs. Blaine knew pretty much every song he sang. The show was worth every penny we paid for it!!!

We saw several interesting things on our trip....one was this combine driving down the highway.

From our hotel door, we saw Georgia's football team being escorted through Tupelo. They were on their way to MSU. There were a lot of Georgia fans staying at our hotel.

We saw Tupelo Hardware where Elvis bought his first guitar. I had seen it before but Neal had not.

We saw this guy with crazy hair at the concert!!

After the concert, Blaine wanted ice cream and the only place open was McDonalds. We went through the drive-thru and they had two order places. There was only one pick up window, so I'm not sure how it saves much time!
Saturday we stopped a couple of places to shop and hurried home to get Judd. We were all ready to see him. We missed him so much!!
