Mimi's Easter

After church, we went to Mimi's for lunch, egg hunting, and picture taking.

My sweet boys

Notice Judd's tennis shoes? He had on some cute sandals until he got in some red mud at church and tracked it in on the new church carpet. After this picture was taken he got back in the mud and got these muddy! I don't know what I'm gonna do with him.

Cousins--Joy, Judd, Blaine, Jett

Do you know how hard it is to get 4 kids under the age of 6 to look at the camera and smile?

Blaine was ready to smile!

Blaine and Joy are 11 months to the day apart.

Our little family

Egg hunting time. Blaine decided that it was more fun to hide the eggs than to find the eggs.

Judd was all into egg huntin'. I didn't even have to help him!

The boys

Blaine and Joy used the clothes line as monkey bars.

Easter at Nana's

Saturday afternoon, we went to Nana's to hunt eggs and eat supper.

Uncle Jim is here and he helped hide the eggs. He hid them harder than Judd was used to!

Notice, this is Judd's 3rd change of clothes for the day. He couldn't stay out of the mud!! He is ALL BOY.

We had to make time for a little photo shoot!

We had such a fun day and ate so much good food. We had 3 huge meals and were stuffed after each one of them!

Happy Easter!

Church Easter Egg Hunt

We had our Church Easter egg hunt and fish fry last Wednesday night. This year it had a little twist...they hunted in the dark with flashlights. We had a great turnout and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.

The kids had a really good time playing on the new swing set.

My sweet blue eyed boy

Piper was even there!

Judd and Piper

So sweet!!

A little doll!

Judd had the BEST time hunting eggs. This was the first egg he found.

Blaine was not in the egg hunting mood. I think he was tired. I guess he had a hard day.

Judd hit the egg jackpot

He ended up with 26 eggs...pretty good for a 2 year old!!

Each age group was to find a different color egg. The pink ones were for 1 and 2 year olds. They were hid easier than some of the other colors. We did this so the bigger kids couldn't run out first and get all of the easily hidden eggs. I thought it was a great idea. As you can tell, Judd found a bunch of purple eggs also. Purple was for the oldest age group and there was only 1 in that age group, so the rest of the kids got to hunt them too.

Blaine's Easter Egg Hunt at School

Blaine's Easter egg hunt at school was yesterday afternoon.

They had ice cream sundae's and brownies to eat.

Then, the hunt was on!!

Blaine was proud of the chicken egg he found!!

They were excited because they were going to get to hunt the eggs again.
