Baby Long Legs

My Daddy called me yesterday and wanted us to come see his new mule colt that had just been born. He told me to bring my camera to take some pictures of it because it has really long legs. And I would say that it does! The pictures don't really do it justice.

It's like he's walking on stilts!

Daddy and his jack named Billy.

Judd was petting this horse-I just missed it!There's nothing like a good ole bareback ride around the pasture!

Another baby colt. These two colts have learned teamwork at an early age!Best Buds!

I found these pictures on my camera. I guess I had forgotten about them!

Have a great weekend!

Photo Shoot 2

I guess this is my last beach post. I'm sure everyone is tired of seeing all of our beach pictures! I was able to get more pictures of Judd this time.

Can you believe that...

last weekend I took NO pictures? We moved our camper to the fair ground. We are already gearing up for the fair! Although the fair has not started, you would think it has with all of the people already there. This will be the first year that we won't be staying in the cabin. I'm a little sad, but it will be much easier with the boys. Hopefully, we will actually be able to get some sleep in the camper. The people who are camping around us say that the area is really quiet. Something that we are not used to! So, we will stay at the cabin durnig the day and the camper at night. Saturday we did some painting at the cabin. It's amazing how a coat of paint can sure freshen things up! Saturday night we grilled hamburgers for everyone. My side of the family and my aunt Lisa and her daughter Jenny and her boyfriend Ben all came to eat. We also visited with some friends that were staying the weekend as well.

I did get my camera out once while the boys were playing with Ryleigh and Neely, but got side tracked and didn't get any pictures!

A few of my favorites..

Here are a few of the pictures we took on our 1st photo shoot at the beach. It was really hard to get both of them to look at the camera. There were so many other things to look at. Judd was not in the picture taking mood. He had gotten a good nap, but wanted me to hold him the whole time.

The Beach-Headed Home

We got up and finally got everything packed. The traffic out of Orange Beach and Gulf Shores was terrible. I would hate to be in hurricane evacuation traffic. I don't know how it could be much worse! We decided to stop at LuLu's for lunch. Thankfully, we didn't have to wait. I think the wait is usually atleast an hour! Next, we stoped by Foley to do some shopping. When we got ready to leave the traffic was no better. After we finally got through the tunnel at Mobile, it was smoothe sailing. Jamey left when we did and went straight to where his was working this week. His drive was suppose to be an hour less than ours, but we beat him home. I hope to have the photo shoot pictures posted soon!

The Beach-Day 5

We spent most of our 4th of July just relaxing and enjoying our last day on the beach. The waves had calmed down and the water was just perfect. Neal and Jamey had sand castle building contests. They each had their own opinions on how to build the "perfect" sand castle!

Judd almost fell asleep in the water, but after we got to the tent, he took his whole nap in my arms on the beach.

We decided to go back to The Crab Trap for supper. We wanted Jamey to see how great it was! It was just as good as the night before!!

The boys played on the playground while we were waiting for our food. After supper I took the boys to the beach for another photo shoot. I'll post some of the results of it as soon as I get them edited. Our condo is the one to the right of the red X. Did I mention that we LOVED our condo. It was really nice and had great views. We will definitely be going back there! We got to see fireworks from several different places. We had the perfect view. The Warf's fireworks were awsome! Some of our friends: Jake and Shanna, and Phillip, Jennifer, and Harley Grace, were staying just down the beach from us. They came over for a while to watch the fireworks with us. It was fun to visit with them. After the fireworks, we had to make one last trip to ride the go carts before heading home.
